Last Minute Freakshow — Designing a Colour Palette for Chaos

Christmas is candles, cosy corners, and wrapping the perfect gifts for everyone you love. And I’m down, that’s wonderful. Who doesn’t love the John Lewis advert?
But what about the other side of the season? The messy, magnetic, slightly reckless side. The let-it-all-go, overindulge-at-the-office-party, regroup-and-head-back-out-for-more side. The side where your party-self finally gets airtime. If that’s what you’re in for, rest assured - no one’s judging here.
In fact, we’re here for it. The end-of-year downward spiral in all its glory is personified in Last Minute Freakshow. And when it came to the palette, it had to feel like the story. 100% party season… but not just a seasonal nod to red and green. A story like this needs a palette that can support a full-on riot of textures, moods, and energy. A palette that can hold sequins, scuffed shoes, neon signs, and sticky bar floors all at once.
Is it warm and spicy but also heightened? Is it bringing me Grinch? Soho nights out and karaoke you barely remember?
Definitely Christmas — but not quite what you expected.
So this one’s for the party animals, the geeks, the freaks, the ones who still want to play. This is your call to overindulge, let your inner child have a dance-off in sequins, and dust off your karaoke bangers. Wereakdown coming soon — grab a drink and dive in.
